About Us
Aptly named Ruemz, we are a one-of-the-kind application hotel and
the brainchild of South East Asia’s renowned Taylor’s University
School of Hospitality, Tourism & Culinary Arts (TCHT). The idea
behind Ruemz came from its unique hotel-in-a-campus concept. Our 84
rooms are not just modern-smart retreats for hotel guests, but also
serve as a progressive, training seminary for future hospitality
management professionals.Under the strict supervision of an
independent team of experienced hoteliers and academics, our TCHT
students manage and operate Ruemz’s guest experience.We are more
than just a hotel! We go beyond the boundaries to ensure that
hospitality and tourism management is more than just providing good
customer service. Ruemz also acts as a product review laboratory for
the hospitality industry, providing an avenue for TCHT to conduct
research for the hospitality sector.We leverage on the strength of
the multinational corporations (MNC) and small and medium
enterprises (SME) specific to the hotel trade in showcasing new and
exciting ways of running hotels in tandem with the dynamic global
environment. Such a unique partnership keeps both parties regularly
updated with the latest technologies and products in the market.
TCHT also builds synergies by providing unique spaces that enhance
both teaching and learning, and showcasing the latest products by
our partners.
SLEEP
Cubic (Single/Double Standard Room)
Designed in small and intimate setting, Cubic is
functional and provides guests with comfortable bedding, work desk
and laptop-sized safe. It is an exquisite example of minimalist
design combined with hostel-inspired interior that offers a novel
experience to travellers.

Matrixx (Single/Double/Twin Superior
Room)
An ideal combination of relaxation, comfort and
functionality, Matrixx measures approximately 28 square metres and
equipped with a queen-sized bed or two super single beds. The room
is tastefully decorated with bright colours and offers a work table
with lamp and an array of amenities for both work and relaxation.

T-Lounge is an inviting retreat, having that perfect
ambience, for a business discussion or some time alone with a good
book. Quench your thirst with a cup of freshly infused tea or brewed
coffee, throughout the day.
TEMPTATIONS
Temptations is run by Diploma and Degree students of
the School of Hospitality, Tourism & Culinary Arts; undergoing
internship in Food & Beverage and Kitchen Department. Built
overlooking an imposing lake at the University Square Level,
Temptations offers casual dining during the day, in a lively,
bustling environment where our future chef’s show off their culinary
prowess. It serves a variety of Asian, vegetarian and Western
specialties with prices ranging .Open only
for lunch on weekdays from 12.00pm till 2.00 pm.
TCHT
RESTAURANTS
Taylor’s University School of Hospitality, Tourism &
Culinary Arts (TCHT) has four practical restaurants, all managed and
operated by our hospitality management and culinary arts students
under the strict supervision of culinary chefs and calibre academic.
If you wish to experience the restaurants’ three-course menu , do
inform our friendly Ruemz personnel to make the necessary
arrangements for you.
*Subject to class schedule and restaurants’ availability.
Restaurants are closed on weekends, unless otherwise stated.
TRUFFLES
The signature fine-dining restaurant under Taylor’s, Truffles is
trendy, exquisite and offers contemporary dining with a variety of
menu choices served by TCHT senior students.
THYME & TARRAGON
These two fine-dining restaurants offer simple and contemporary
dining avenues with versatility for different event set-ups.
TANGERINE
A modern Asian themed restaurant, Tangerine has an outdoor deck
which can also be utilised as a pre-function, cocktail area.
MEET
Ruemz is set within the of Taylor’s University
Campus. A 27-acres of tropical greenery, the integrated purpose
built campus surrounds a 5.5 acre man-made lake, as well as a
landscape of water plants, trees, and flowering shrubs that provides
a rich and stimulating natural environment.Depending on your number
of guests, Ruemz is able to cater for special events, meetings and
conferences, and banquets for up to 800 people. High-speed internet
WiFi access and audio visual equipment are also available upon
request.
