sanctuary@one (formerly known as THANN SANCTUARY), a leading day spa awarded the Conde Nast Global Hot Spa Award 2006, is located on level 2 of the hotel.  Measuring about 4000 square feet, it comprises of 7 treatment rooms, 2 VIP treatment rooms with private shower and Jacuzzi.Here, guests can also purchase sanctuary@one’s very own products that are used for treatments in the spa.  Total head to toe pampering products include scrubs, shampoos, shower gels, soaps, home aromatherapy, and bath accessories. sanctuary@one products contain natural ingredients that are botanical derived – where no perfume or chemicals are added.

Located on level 2 of the hotel, the Fitness Centre is equipped with high-performance fitness and latest workout equipment with a staff of professionals to coach and motivate you to attain your fitness goals.After a session of vigorous work-out, relax and unwind at the club house with a refreshing juice. It is equipped with wireless Internet connectivity and multiple workstations for added convenience and greater comfort when you work; as well as two well-appointed meeting rooms.

The security department of One World Hotel plays a major role in theft prevention and detection by maintaining a close relationship with the police force. Heading the team is the Security Manager who has vast experience with the police taskforce.Effective and sufficient features include smoke detectors, fire hose reel, emergency buttons, fire extinguishers, water sprinkles and S.O.S emergency phones are installed and cover the entire hotel. Regular safety checks are carried out to ensure that all safety features are functioning well and without defects. Emergency exits are strategically located for easy access. Directional signs are all clearly spelled out including floor plans.Closed Circuit Television Surveillance Cameras (CCTVs) are placed around the hotel where behind the scenes images are monitored and recorded every day. A dedicated team of security and safety personnel patrols and monitors the entire hotel, as well as the exterior and parking areas. They are also placed at strategic locations.In the unlikely event of a fire breakout, smoke detectors will be activated and signals will be sent to the control room. Security personnel will be promptly dispatched to assess the situation and evacuation will then take place. The Fire and Rescue Department and Police Station will be automatically alerted through One World Hotel’s fire control monitoring system which is linked to the respective emergency rescue system. The hotel also places great emphasis on ensuring all its employees are equipped with sufficient knowledge to face untoward incidents. They are also briefed and trained of their respective roles such as floor warden and crisis commander.Other safety measures are fire drills, regular checks on equipments, security circulars, security seminars and an in house emergency rescue team and fire fighting response squad.
