About Us
We built Grid 9 with a vision to create
a social experience unlike any other hotel. Inspired by
the design of a grid, we want the paths of our guests to
intersect, forming a network of globetrotters around the
world. More than just a hotel or a flashpacker, we are a
hybrid of both. From our pods to our rooms, from our
lounge to our gastropub, the Grid 9 experience is what
differentiates us from the pack.Located in the heart of
KL, we are a 10 minute walk to Chinatown and right next
to the Jalan Maharajalela monorail station.P.S. The wifi
is free and all our guests get special privileges at
ZOUK, Malaysia’s iconic super club .
Rooms
All of Grid 9′s rooms are ensuite with a
32″ LED TV (yes free cable channels!) and an awesome top
notch bed from Dunlopillo. Oh, have we mentioned the
free wifi?
Flying Solo
A super single bed for the solo
dude/dudette. Perfect for the lone ranger!
The Standard
We almost named the room “The Scandal”,
but weren’t too sure how people would feel when they’re
checking in. A queen size bed for 2 people, or a plain
luxury for 1.
Broski
Twin beds for the bros, friends without
benefits, homophobes etc.
The LMG Crib
Named after the initials of our friend
who paid for naming rights. The LMG Crib is the room of
choice. Furnished with a King size bed or the option of
twin beds, you’ll definitely have a good time either
way. By the way Mr LMG, you owe us money.
La
Familia
You could fit 3 in the room, or just
stick to 2 and have a day bed for fun. Great for the
trio travelling together!
Single Pods
Your private pod with a single bed,
adjustable privacy light and personal locker space.
We’re redefining the flashpacking experience. There are
6 pods in a room and if you don’t want to share with the
boys, there’s a female only dorm as well.
Super Pods
If single pods were cheeseburgers, think
of this as a Big Mac. Super single beds along with all
the luxuries of the Single Pod, and only 4 to a room.
Its really quite comfy. And yes, you still don’t have to
share with the boys if you don’t want to.
Bum & Booze
The Grid 9 Lounge
At the Grid 9 Lounge, we wanted a place
for people to chillax. From our ipads, to the pool
table, our Doof bags to the 55″ LED TV and surround
sound system. The lounge is one of the defining factors
of Grid 9. You’ll enjoy it.
The Grid 9 Gastropub
We get thirsty every now and then, we
get hungry more often than not, so we knew we needed a
gastropub. The food’s alright, the drink’s are decent,
but most importantly, we want you to party and have a
good time. Make sure you socialize, because if not, you
don’t belong here.
