About Us

Located 30km off the coast of Kedah and situated in Langkawi Island that was accorded the World Geopark title by UNESCO in 2007, Berjaya Langkawi Resort is one of an ideal meeting spot for business travellers as well as for group team-building exercise who target productive results and professionalism all while ensuring a pleasurable experience for character building and work progress. The resort boasts its Matsirat Ballroom which can accommodate up to 900 persons and 8 other separate meeting rooms. Langkawi is accessible by ferry from Kuala Kedah, Kuala Perlis and Penang. Daily flights are also available from Penang, Kuala Lumpur and Singapore.

Berjaya Langkawi Resort is spread over 70 acres with the chalets set amidst a lush tropical rainforest or over the beautiful waters of the Andaman Sea. RAINFOREST CHALET  Located within the lush rainforest with the views of the jungle, this newly refurbished chalet comes in a fresh new look, combining a rustic Malay architecture with a modern touch.	SEAVIEW CHALET Seaview Chalet is a newly refurbished room that comes with individually controlled air-conditioning, private balcony, up-to-date amenities and fresh interior design, combining a rustic Malay architecture with a modern touch.
RAINFOREST SUITE / STUDIO Having the same spatial size and modern facilities, the only difference that a Suite has is a separate bedroom and sitting area whereas Studio is an entire room. Both are a must-stay for nature lovers.	FAMILY CHALET  Formed by two inter-connecting Rainforest Chalets, the Family Chalet is fitted with a king-sized and a twin-sized bed. The chalet is perfect for families who enjoy enriched quality time together.
PREMIER CHALET  The very popular Premier Chalet are spacious, modern, well equipped and are all located either at the very edge of the rainforest or along the Andaman Sea-front with stunning views of Burau Bay.	JUNIOR CHALET ON WATER  Perched beautifully on stilts over the water, each Junior Chalet provides an uninterrupted view across the spectacular Andaman Sea from the private balcony.
PREMIER CHALET ON WATER The Premier Chalet on Water is located on stilts over the water with uninterrupted views across the Andaman Sea. These spacious chalets feature modern amenities, large bathroom and balcony.	EXECUTIVE SUITE ON WATER  These exclusive suites are located over the water and come with a dining area, living hall and a cold kitchen as well as a very spacious bedroom and bathroom. Enjoy the beautiful uninterrupted sea views.
PRESIDENTIAL SUITE ON WATER  The Presidential Suite is located over the water and offers a dining area, living hall, a cold kitchen, a very spacious master bedroom and bathroom as well as second bedroom with twin beds.

Choose from a range of wonderful dining experiences at any of our 5 international standard restaurants that offer at least 8 different types of cuisine with some of the islands best restaurant locations - on land, on the beach or even over the waters of beautiful Burau Bay. PAHN-THAI RESTAURANT  Uniquely built over clear ocean waters with the ancient rainforest as a beautiful backdrop, this restaurant serves innovative Thai cuisine with an extensive wine list.	DAYANG CAFÉ Serve a variety of Malaysian and International cuisines with wonderful themed evening buffets for the whole family, groups and discerning couples.
ORIENTAL PEARL  Authentic Chinese cuisine at it’s best. The “Chinese Fondue”, or more fondly known as the “Steamboat”, is the signature dish.	BEACH RESTAURANT  Located right on the private beach front with the Andaman Sea lapping onto the shore, the Beach Restaurant offers an extensive menu covering the Western, Italian and fine Indian cuisines.
MIZUMI JAPANESE RESTAURANT   Located on the lake at the Oriental Village, this restaurant welcomes all guests to experience the best, freshest and most distinctively flavoured traditional Japanese cuisine by our skilled culinary team.	LOBBY LOUNGE This is the right place to chill and enjoy a coffee or cocktail or just chat with new friends. Happy Hour is on every afternoon while excellent live entertainment is on every evening.
RIMBA LOUNGE  An entertainment hot spot complete with an extensive bar, very cool music, big screen sports telecasts, darts, internet access and pool tables. Open every day from 11am till late.	SUNKEN POOL BAR  Cool down, inside and out, in the relaxing Sunken Pool Bar, fully stocked with your favourite beers, cocktails, mocktails, wines and spirits all available till after sunset.
