Nora Beach Resort and Spa
New to this heaven is the
Nora Beach Resort & Spa. Nora may just be starting off
but friendly staff and its unique Southern Thai
atmosphere is backed by hundreds of years of Thai
hospitality. Nora is named after the traditional
mystical dance of southern Thailand. It is hoped that
the resort’s service and relaxed ambience will emulate
the grace and charm of this ancient art of dance.
The resort enjoys a spectacular hillside
setting, overlooking a secluded bay just north of the
world-famous Chaweng Beach. Although only few minutes
from the island’s boutique airport and a short drive
from central Chaweng, Nora is secluded and private, a
little village within lush gardens.

yesteryear. The architecture throughout the resort is a
fusion of classical Thai style and contemporary
luxuries. The resort ‘s magnificent lobby is open-sided

One of the most charming features of the
resort is the terraced stream, which runs from a pool in
the lobby and gently flows through the grounds before
plunging into a waterfall and mixing with the waters of
the Thai gulf. As this lovely stream runs past your
villa, the soothing sound of running water will gently
lull you to sleep.

Restaurants
Thai food has transcended from street food to be

Nora Beach Resort you’ll see why. As Nora’s main
restaurant, thePrasuthon offers Royal Thai dishes using
ancient recipes that have been enjoyed by the upper
crust of Thai society for generations. There is also a
wide variety of western dishes and fusion food to choose
from. Nora’s director of Food and Beverage Khun Mattawan
has worked in five-star resorts around the region and
prides himself on ingredients and many of the resort’s
herbs and vegetables are grown in the lush surrounding
gardens.
Each morning from seven till eleven,
Nora hosts a buffet breakfast offering many different
dishes from around the world. From bacon and eggs to
fruit and freshly cooked breads, you’re bound to find
some comfort food when you eat breakfast at Nora.
Koh Samui is a great place to sample
some of the world’s best and freshest seafood. So as the
sun slowly sink over the horizon, get on down to the
beach for the Prasuthon barbeque. Fish and other types
of seafood, freshly caught from the Thai Gulf, can be
cooked to perfection and enjoyed under the stars.
